My first project in Sims3 is Colonization 102. The Colony is situated on a brand new planet far far away, in a valley with a resemblance to base games Sunset Valley. A group of sims have arrived here, and their task is to inhabit the new planet.
Two groups of professionals are dominating: the military and the scientists.
Here we see Marilyn Latterbin, an officer of the Space Fleet and James Paynter, one of the hard working scientists, chatting in the Science Museum. Obviously James had a small incident with a coffee cup, and his hand got stuck.
The significant glass domes of Colonization 102. Even if the air and the environment over all is very similar to earth, caution makes the inhabitants to cover most of the public areas with glass domes. The housing is also partly underground, especially sleeping quarters are always placed underground. You never know what's out there!
More daring sims are starting to use the outside for eating and other activities.
Here we see two sims entertaining the view of the Science Museum, a popular spot for parties and weddings. Many sims also come here to study, as the library is excellent for this purpose.

A typical house unit: a small semi bunker with attached greenhouse to grow veggies. Suitable for families with 1-8 members.
