No Street Lamps!

I have had many questions about how to get rid of the street lamps, which I succeeded doing with debug options turned on. The trick is to do it in live mode, not build/buy mode. I paused the game and went around deleting them. An even easier method is to use Twallans Supercomputer. It has an option Maintenance/Object Stats/All, where you can see how many of each item you have in all hood. If you go through this list, you get to the street lamps. Cleanse them out, all, in one click. Done.
As I already told you, the deco stuff is trickier. Some of it CAN be cleaned out, though. Like hay bales. And the more modern, smaller tower thingies of wood and metal, which you can see here and there in Riverview. With Twallans Computer you can pick the option also, the pic is of a road sign, but if you cleanse it, it takes a away all that deco stuff (unfortunatley not the radio tower or the big water tower. Probably because those are build mode stuff.)
Beware that the stuff can't be put back.
You can also use one of these ready-cleansed hoods:
This one I cleansed of all buildings and sims by myself. No houses, no sims whatsoever. Start from scratch. No Buenavista buffs either - if you want those, use this excellent program by TigerM at MTS to put the Buena Vista buffs where you want them.

This is a lamp cleansed version of Bogsims Sunset Valley, which has the Buena Vista Buffs preserved.

I suppose there is no way to get rid of all the junk by the military base in SV or the dome by the science centre? After downloading the "Sunset Valley clean and dark" and checking it out, I have am beginning to understand more why you chose Riverview as the base for your own medieval hood.

Yeah, unfortunately the science dome ect are all build items, and can not be cleansed, at this moment. The radio tower and the water tower in Riverview are also annoying, but can easier be avoided.

I really do not understand how to delete them- I do not have the super computer installed, however there seemed to be another way without it. I have tried everything- what do you have to do to delete them without any mods installed? Is there a way?

You can try using using "testingCheatsEnabled [true/false]" but I think you need to enable all debug commands, then in live mode, click with (ctrl+shift) on every single lamp in the hood, and delete it. I am not sure it works totally mod-less, though - when I did it by hand, I had Awesome Mod installed.

Hi Ingeli- I love all of your creations! I'm making a medieval neighborhood for my game and I was wondering how to use the "Riverview- clean and dark". Where should I place the file to have it show up as a neighborhood? Thanks in advance!
