One thing with Sims3 is that you can get the families to develope so much faster. My main family, the Windletons, just had a first born son in the fifth generation.

Wow. What lifespan/aging speed are you using?

I am using the SLAM aging mod from MTS, Lifespan 4 (Centi) +ReaLife. Give the sim 160+ sim days, enough to have time for fulfilling some lifegoals and not too long to be boring. I can leave them alone a bit also while I jump around checking and fine tuning the other families.

You must just play a LOT more than me then. lol I use a modified SLAM package that my husband and I made to try to emulate real life, and I have never even gotten a born in game sim to age to adult in any of my games. Do you find that everyone ages properly using that mod? There has been some discussion over at MATY about unevenly aging inactives and Pes was suggesting it was due to mods that changed the length of different lifestages. I've been having some weird jumps in age myslef in my Hatchet Falls (downloaded edit of SV from MATY pudding factory). Since you are in gen 5 already, I assume you would have noticed any problems if there were any, right? lol
