Medieval Career Replacements for Culinary Career, Grocery Store and Mausoleum

Categories: Downloads, Older Windle
So far I have the following Community lots in Windle:
The Inn - which now has a Bistro
The Market "Square", which has a Grocery Store and a Diner
The Graveyard which has a Mausoleum

The Church Windle St Mary, which functions as a Gallery and also has a couple of bookshelves.

A pond/swimmingpool by Fluttereyes which I downloaded from MTS - its very cleverly built to integrate the pool and the pond.
I have some plans for it for the future..

Anyway, for the Culinary Career, the Grocery Store Part Time Career and the Mausoleum Career, I needed replacements. Here they are. I only edited the text of these careers, they are not changed in any other way. Install them like normal packages, in the Mods/Packages folder.
(If you want career replacements for ALL careers, check this post  instead.)

This is a work in progress, I will add more replacement careers when I add more rabbit holes, and I am also working on a medieval version of Twallans career mod - but that will take some time though.

Well done on the careers - it's impressive what you've been able to do with the current game so far. I guess that green trash can be a bit distracting though :)

Hehe, oh yes it can :D - I do change them to more discrete options, but mostly I hide them away from sight behind bushes or the like - this one was just in the way when I wanted to show the career levels, sorry.

Wow. Awesome. I've been hoping that someone would tackle a medieval conversion of TS3 (I played medieval 'hoods pretty much exclusively in TS2), so this is great. Wonderful work!

Thank you Diana! It's fun to experiment and see what you can do with the game. I do have great expectations for what the expansions will bring, in form of new usable stuff. What I miss most now, is decent oldish clothing. It is possible to use a lot of the stuff that came with the game, but we have a sad lack of long skirts for all ages, and better legging wear (kilts, robes, ect) for the men (all ages).

I love this! Makes me hope that I will be able to have a medieval/fantasy hood in Sims 3.

Very nice career replacements! I did this for Sims 2 but its so much more complicated here. Now if we could only stop the school bus and the carpool from showing up.

I am working on a complete set, only have a couple more to go. And yes, the carpool is an annoyance. As is the outfits, unfortunately I haven't find a way to change those yet, if we at least could make them go to work in everyday wear.. But it will come, I am sure, modders never sleep :P

The link to pond/swimmingpool by fluttereyes http://www.modthesims.infoshowthread.php?t=368973 no longer works. She has pulled all her stuff from Mod the Sims, and she has banned some people from Mod the Sims from her own site. She definitely does not play well with others.
