Building the Windle Castle

Categories: Older Windle
Right now I am building the Windle Castle, to create a follower to the Windleport Castle I had in Sims 2. Of course, without hood editor, and no Lot Adjuster, it will not be the same, but it will be a nice addition to Windle anyway. Here is a sneak preview:
Windle Castle

I have some more work to do on it, and play testing, before I put it up for download. With the recent news of what is coming with the expansion in less than a month, I am sure I will make a version with those possibilities used too.. (recolorable stairs.. fences!)

Failed to render control: Value does not fall within the expected range.

Looks great! :D Man, I wish I was better a building. :P lol So with the expansion they'll actually let us recolour stairs and fences?? It's so stupid that it wasn't possible in the base game.

Looks great! I'm putting together a medieval TS3 neighborhood, so this will fit right in. Thanks for sharing your work with the community! :) Just a quick question, though: what are you using for male medieval-era clothing? I've seen a lot of stuff for the women, but none for the men. Are you just using patterns creatively on existing clothing or is there a source out there for TS3 historic clothing?

Mostly I just color the modern stuff, and try to ignore the zippers. One good item is the Kilt, that can be obtained in the EA store - only for adult/YA:s though, I soo want a version for elders and teens. I use the Neo Robe (also store) for the monks, but it's not quiet what's needed.. I wish for armor, and robes and the medieval outfits they released for sims2 not so long ago..
